Welcome to AOD!
The Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Programming (AOD) office offers a wide variety of services including education, prevention, alcohol and other drug assessment/evaluation, short term intervention, counseling and referrals.
This office coordinates with many other campus and community programs to create a healthy environment for students to study, work and play in. We provide programs, activities and support services to encourage individuals and groups to make low risk, responsible choices; ones that will optimize their personal and academic success and enhance their time at UCF.
The REAL Project
The REAL Project is a part of the Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention & Intervention Services Office. The very foundation of our program is Peer Advocacy, actual students, just like yourselves, providing real information to help you make more informed decisions. We believe REAL students effectively influence the attitudes and behaviors of other students in positive ways. We train students to empower their peers to deal effectively with college lifestyle choices. REAL Peers develop communities that support caring and respectful relationships and motivate healthy lifestyle choices.
